FAQ: Wellington Jet Charters

  • Where does Wellington Jet Charters service?
    Wellington Jet Charters is purely a New Zealand domestic charter service. We can fly 6 people comfortably from one end of the country to the other.
  • How much luggage can I bring?
    Each person can take a large suitcase up to 25kgs and one small cabin bag. Further baggage may be taken with prior approval from Wellington Jet Charters. We can fit all long and bulky items in our cargo hold such as golf clubs, skis and snowboards.
  • How quickly can Wellington Jet Charters prepare for a trip?
    We normally require 48hours notice, however, we will always try our best to accommodate last minute requests depending on crew and aircraft availability.
  • Can Wellington Jet Charters arrange local transfers?
    Depending on availability in the area, we can arrange local transfers. We can also arrange a priority service for you to be taken through Auckland International Airport arrivals and taken to our aircraft through a third party. We are there for you to assist in arranging ground or helicopter transportation prior to reaching your destination. Please get in touch to see what transfers we can arrange.
  • What are the requirements for lithium ion batteries?
    Lithium ion batteries must be 100Wh or less and must be carried in person on board.
  • What happens if there is a technical issue with the aircraft on the day?
    Safety is our absolute priority. If your aircraft experiences technical issues on the day, we will do our absolute best to resolve the issues as soon as possible or make alternative arrangements.
  • What happens if there is a weather delay?
    Wellington Jet Charters will keep in direct contact with you around weather delays. If there is a delay we will work with you to come up with the best solution for your travel requirements.
  • What happens if I want to make changes to my flight or cancel?
    All our flights are subject to crew duty times. We will notify you of our limitations if you decide to make any changes. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, so we will do our best to meet your needs. Changes may attract extra fees depending on the request. Cancellations may attract cancellation fees as per our terms and conditions.
  • What happens if I’m late or early?
    Please be at the airport at least 10 minutes prior to departure. This is to allow time for the loading of the aircraft and ensures we keep our departure and arrival slots with Air Traffic Control. If you are going to be early or late, please contact us so we can make the necessary arrangements to make the journey seamless.
  • Can I bring pets on board?
    Most dogs and cats will be allowed on board with prior arrangement. Any specific requests can be made upon booking request and we will endeavour to do our best.
  • Is a flight attendant included?
    There is no flight attendant included due to the size of the aircraft.
  • Is there catering on board?
    We have a selection of snacks and beverages available. Meals can be arranged on request.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Bank transfer or credit card.
